‘Banjara: The Truck Dirver ‘: Babbu Maan Starrer Got Another Poster Released

Punjabi cinema is to get experimental for the first time by introducing the concept of triple role played by, Babbu Maan. ‘Banjara- The Truck Driver’ will see Babbu Maan in triple role for the first time ever. Babbu Maan starrer is directed by Mushtaq Pasha, who is also the winner of Dadasaheb Phalke Film Foundation award.

We already had two posters from this film and now the makers have released another poster from this Babbu Maan starrer Punjabi drama. Babbu Maan took it to his social media handle to share the poster with his fans and quoted, “Banjara movie jaldi hi …..#beimaan”

In this film, Babbu Maan will be playing the role of the grandson, son, and grandfather avatar of their respective times therefore we won’t see him ageing. The film will highlight eras of 1947, 1984 and 2018 showing love interests of three generations in their young ages.

“Banjara-The Truck Driver” is a comeback project of Babbu Maan, who was last seen in the Punjabi film ‘Baaz’ in 2014.

Director Mushtaq Pasha, who is an alumnus of Punjab University, has done many Punjabi films in his career ‘Viyah 70 km’ and ‘Main Tu Assi Tussi’ are a few to name. He wanted to experiment with the storyline and then decided to have all the characters in the prime of their lives.

Babbu will be seen in a young getup in every role he plays. Moreover, it was also the demand of the script, as it will show three stories of three different eras. Besides Babbu Maan, other starcast of this movie includes Rana Ranbir, Malkit Rauni, Prakash Yadu, Gurpreet Bhangu, Shraddha Arya, Sara Khatri and Jia Mustafa. Surmeet Maavi has written the lyrics of this film and its  slated to hit the theaters on 14th September 2018.
